FRN 4193A: Independent Study:Field Experience in French-speaking Cultures

1 - 3 credits With the cooperation of a mentor, students design a research or serv ice project which they carry out in a French-speaking culture. Students are in weekly contact with the mentor to discuss progress on the project, and complete a paper of appropriate length based on the project. An on-cam pus oral presentation of the project is required. Prerequisites: Students must have completed at least 9 credits or the equivalent of college-level French, and meet all qualifications for independent study in the disci pline. Offered: Upon request.
