The French major will complete this 3 credit project that demonstrates mastery of the language in the context of literary or cultural studies or professional applications. The project may be a traditional thesis on a literary or cultural topic, or it may reflect the student’s involvement in professional or volunteer work in the language. The project will normally require a significant research base culminating in the submission of an extensive written report and presentation at the Academic Festival.
