An introductory course in all fields of sculpture. Students work in clay, plaster and wire construction. The course includes use of welding equipment for metal sculpture, carving in wood and stone. Students may also select materal with which they wish to work. Discussion of cultural styles from past to present with illustrated slide lectures is also included.
