COM 235: Preproduction for TV & Film

This course introduces students to the organizational aspect of media production, taking the abstract idea to the production stage. Students will exercise the skills required to plan a production. They will be required to write a script breakdown, estimate a budget, work with and hire talent, and write treatments and proposals for funding and production. Each student wil be required to research their projects for accuracy and legal clearances. Alternate fall semesters.
