2 cr. In the automotive field, the use of the oxyacetylene torch and the mig welder is common place. Automotive technicians need to be able to use the processes of welding and brazing, etc. safely and skillfully. This course offers both theory and a practical lab section so students will be both skilled and knowledgeable in all the welding technology covered. One-hour lecture and two hours of laboratory weekly.
