2 days per week plus biweekly conferences, 5 credits. Supervised work in both public agencies and private businesses that requires the skills derived from the fine and liberal arts. Interns will write, edit, translate, assist in stage productions, do layouts, be apprentices in a studio, be research aides, or help to organize theatre and art projects. The program offers students practical experience in a wide range of careers to which a humanities education may lead. The course may be repeated once under special circumstances and with approval of the Internships Screening and Evaluation Committee. Grading will be on a Pass/Fail basis. PREREQ: Satisfactory completion of 75 college credits and approval of the Internship Screening and Evaluation Committee.
