This course is designed to enable the advanced student to pursue an investigation of some topic of common interest to the student and a faculty member of the Department. A written research report is required each semester. PREREQ: CHE 234-235, or 344, or 334, and Departmental permission. Note: Satisfactory completion of 3 credits of CHE 491 is one of the requirements for Departmental honors. The total credits received for CHE 491 and 391 may not exceed 9.
