FINE 2850: Digital Animation Techniques: 3D Character Creation

A lecture/lab course focused on mastery of skills for creating digital 3D characters. Students will develop skills/knowledge to shape, mold, transform/articulate, deform digital 3D shapes creating digital characters with an emphasis on artistic excellence through application of current 3D technologies. Note: Offered through Extended Studies (Continuing and Professional Education) due to separate tuition structure. Acceptance to the Digital Animation Center is competitive by interview/portfolio review with the Area Head for the program. Prereq: FINE 2810, 2820 and acceptance into the Digital Animation Center Animation Program.
