FINE 2210: Painting II: Figure Painting

This course is an exploration of representing the human form in pictorial space. Students will gain a knowledge of figural color, proportion, scale and space; and will understand the conceptual and visual weight carried by expressive gesture and figural form. Note: Students missing the first 2 classes of this course may be administratively dropped. Students will not be allowed to add course if they have missed the first 2 classes. Prereq: FINE 1015, 1100, 1400, 1600, 2000, 2200, 2600.
