PSY 390: RESEARCH METHODS AND DESIGN I

Students gain experience in methods of design, data collection, management, and analysis. Students begin a significant research project. This course must be taken in the semester immediately preceding Psychology 391. Prerequisites: Psychology 103 and Mathematics 203 (may be taken concurrently or with the consent of instructor).

Emphasis is placed on understanding moral developmental determinants of religious experience, and on the application of psychotherapeutic principles in facilitating moral character change. A multi-disciplinary approach is taken to encourage integrative scholarship in the areas of faith development, spiritual formation, and character change.
