SPME 250: Motor Development and Learning

Describes and analyzes how growth and maturation affect the development of motor skills across the lifespan, from pre-natal development through older adulthood. Principles and concepts relating to the acquisition and perfecting of motor skills, as well as understanding the interaction of environmental and biological factors that affect acquisition of these movement behaviors, will also be covered. Three hours lecture and one two-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisite: Prior or concurrent enrollment in SPME/BIOL 230. (RM)
