Practical observations and applications of the geographic grid, atlases and topographic maps; rocks and tectonic activity, weather and climate, and natural vegetation and soils. Exercises are designed to supplement Geography 101. Classes will meet periodically at off-campus locations within Marin County and students are expected to provide their own transportation.
