This course is designed to teach the skills, knowledge and philosophy of offensive football. Special consideration will be given to skills development of the preteen player. Recommended for those students interested in playing or coaching organized football and for the non-professional coach working outside the school environment. Lecture. Letter grade only. This course studies the international system in relation to power structures, conflict, diplomacy and cooperation. It is recommended for students interested in political science, international relations and law.

A survey of political theory and major figures in the history of political philosophy. Questions concerning the role of government, natural rights and the relationship between government and the individual will be explored by evaluating the works of philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Locke and Marx.

This course examines the American political system at the national, state and local levels. This course satisfies the CSU Constitution of the United States requirement and is UC transferable.
