Introduces the principles of cross connection control: identifying a cross connection and the type of backflow prevention required; recycled water; recognizing the responsibilities of the water purveyor, the health agency, and the consumer; and learning basic maintenance and backflow prevention device testing. This course will prepare the student for A.W.W.A. and/or the Los Angeles County Certification. 54 lecture hours.
