A mandatory course designed for all international students new to the United States. This course is intended to help international students to understand American values, laws, customs, family and social issues, and help them to cope with cultural differences. The course is required for all international students in their first semester at the university. (Exception are students transferring from United States universities above the rank of freshman.) All designated students must pass the course with a grade "C" or above.
