Findings are to be presented throughout the semester in oral and written form as well as in a final written and formal presentation. On demand, Lect. 3, Lab. 0, 3 credits. This course provides students with basic definitions, concepts, principles and tools necessary to study turbulence. Topics include: Navier-Stokes equations and turbulence, theoretical, experimental and computational methods, chaos and nonlinearity. Prerequisites: Graduate standing and instructor's permission.
