Emphasis is on gross income determination, adjustments to income, business expenses, itemized deductions, exemption, capital gains/losses, depreciation, and tax credits. Emphasis is on procedures to provide data for job order and continuous process types of industries, determination of unit costs, and preparation of cost reports. Emphasis is on the diversity of form and content in original works of art. Upon completion, students should be understand the fundamentals of art and the materials used, as well as have a basic overview of the history of art.

This course introduces the basic concepts of two-dimensional images. Emphasis is placed on the elements and principles of design, understanding and familiarization with art materials, and the arrangements and relationships between them. Upon completion, students should demonstrate an effective use of these elements and principles of design in creating two-dimensional compositions.

This course introduces art materials and principles of design that acquaint the beginner with the fundamentals of three-dimensional art. Emphasis is placed on the use of art fundamentals and the creative exploration of materials in constructing three-dimensional art works. Upon completion, students should demonstrate basic technical skills and a personal awareness of the creative potential inherent in threedimensional art forms.
