Lectures and laboratories cover instrumentation theory, data systems, method development and qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques. Techniques discussed with laboratory activities include gas chromatography (GC), infrared spectrometry (IR), ultraviolet-visible spectrometry (UV-Vis), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
