It also traces the history of our most popular and enduring art form--the musical comedy--from the Ziegfeld Follies to Rent and beyond.

Studying fundamental facial anatomy, the class learns to manipulate light and shadow with makeup to enhance and alter the shape of facial features. Once these techniques are mastered, the class moves on to more complex exercises, including Old Age, Facial Hair, Wounds and Fantasy.
