Topics include: using authentic assessment and materials, applying national standards, teaching writing and culture, motivating students, providing strategy instruction, infusing technology, preparing for K-12 employment, and creating a professional portfolio. Field experience (in co-requisite EDCI438) focuses on middle and high school.
