This course is offered to singers and instrumentalists who are interested in learning how the Alexander technique can enhance performance skills and reduce performance anxiety and tension while playing or singing. Through group activities, observation and individual work, students will learn about Alexander technique principles and how they apply to various aspects of practicing and performing. Students will gain a basic understanding of the fundamentals of anatomy and body mapping and how this information can impact their performance.
