Prerequisite: An audition with the instructor. Instruction to develop ensemble skills in solo singers and in pianists interested in working with singers. Participants are assigned partners with whom they prepare chamber duets and trios by composers such as Schumann, Mendelssohn, and Vivaldi. Some American musical theatre repertoire may be included. Weekly meetings (1.5 hours) and an additional 1.5-hour rehearsal are required, with a recital given at the end of the semes- ter.
