The major historical, social, and philosophical concepts that undergird present educational philosophy, objectives, forms, and practices are explored in this course. Emphasis is also placed on discussion of the administration of the organization and the financing of public education laws dealing with American education and values and the teaching of values in a school setting. Admission to Teacher Education is a course requirement.
