To provide students with the knowledge of wireless communication technologies, including Mobile Radio Propagation, Cellular Radio System, Multiple Radio Access, Channel Allocation, Frequency Reuse and Cellular Topology, Mobile Communication Systems, Handoff Strategies, Multicasting, Security and Privacy, Wireless Systems AMPS, IS-41, GSM, PCS, IS-95, IMT- 2000, Bellman-Ford Routing Algorithm, TCP over Wireless, Ad Hoc and Wireless Sensor Networks, WLAN, WMAN, WPAN. Prerequisite: EENT 390.

Project design methodology, management, and documentation will be discussed. The students will form teams for this course and for the follow-on course-EENT 496. The design project will be chosen and the preliminary research and specifications will be developed. The course culminates with the presentation of the design proposal. Prerequisites: EENT 316, EENT 360.

The continuation of the prerequisite course EENT 494. The chosen project will be built, tested, and presented in a final oral presentation as well as a final written report.
