The student will demonstrate knowledge of radiation monitoring devices, radiation surveys, and film characteristics. The student will perform an inspection using the longitudinal mode of sound. The student will recognize and operate equipment used to measure radiation. The student will become familiar with calibration dates on equipment. The student will know what type of label should be used to ship a radioactive material.
