A continuation of DEVR 0740 with emphasis placed on achieving success in reading collegelevel materials through the development of active reading strategies, vocabulary knowledge, and comprehension skills and strategies. This is a skills improvement course that may not be used for credit for a certificate or degree. Satisfactory performance on a proficiency examination is required for credit in the course.
