Through the reading of both classical French literature and non-traditional Francophone literature, students will prepare textual analysis for class discussion and creative responses in their writing assignments. The text will range from moderately difficult to more difficult to insure progression of proficiency in reading and writing as well as in listening and speaking.     LANG 3230 or concurrent enrollment. This course explores the language and culture of business in France. Students will learn about various industries, technologies and traditions that drive the French economy, while developing oral and written language skills pertinent to a business environment. The latter part of the course will focus on current events in French commercial and economic life as reported in its national media.
