ENVL 2105 for Science majors only. This course trace the solar energy spectrum as in passes through the atmosphere to the earth's surface and by so doing creating the layers of the atmosphere and global weather including the northern and southern oscillations. Tropical cyclones, tornadoes, microbursts and thunderstorms will be discussed. In addition, global warnings and climatic change will be covered in detail. Furthermore the creation of the earth's topography will be covered as well as the interaction of the topography and the weather in forming soils and in controlling the distribution of plants and animals on the earth's surface.
