Consists of an individualized study in a special area of interest. The area must be specifi ed. The anticipated time and effort required by the complexity of the area of study will determine applicable credit hours: 1101 -- 1 cr., 1102 -- 2 cr. hrs., 1103 -- 3 cr. hrs. Class assignments and work load will be established on a contract basis and students can generally anticipate one contact hour per credit hour per week in the form of appointments with instructor, consultation with project personnel, class work and report and progress sessions. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
