This course will provide academic credit for active participation in various formal special education workshops conducted periodically throughout the state and surrounding region. The topics of the workshops vary from general information pertaining to the exceptionalities to specific information about a particular exceptionality, instructional techniques, instructional materials, etc. This course can be taken more than once for one credit hour per each approved workshop. If the duration of a workshop is less than 12- 15 clock hours, the student may be assigned additional requirements.
