This course is a study of concepts, materials, and concepts in sculpture. It is a continued exploration of creative expression in three dimensions. A variety of media, including clay, wood, stone, plaster, metals, and mixed media constructions can be employed. A variety of methods including modeling, construction or addition, subtractive carving and casting may be used. The student focuses attention on subject, form, and content.
