Prerequisite: Eng 321 This course provides in-depth coverage of two genres of professional writing at the discretion of the instructor. Genres may include but are not limited to: advertising and public relations, magazine and journalistic writing, grant writing, proposal writing, useability testing, white paper writing. May be repeated for credit. (Alternating semesters)

Provides students both advanced instruction and opportunities for "real-world" applications. (Culminating course for Englishmajors with a Professional Writing emphasis.) (Fall, Winter, Spring)

Prerequisite: FDENG 101, Eng 218, Eng 318R, and 36 credits. A workshop class that emphasizes creation of full-length, original works in poetry, drama, fi ction, and nonfi ction. It is the student's responsibility, previous to registering for this class, to invite a faculty member to oversee his/her work, and begin the workshopping and mentoring process. (Culminating course for English majors with a Creative Writing emphasis.) (Fall, Winter, Spring)
