Students from across the emphasis areas will research and discuss case studies in a problem-solving environment. Class emphasizes effective group interaction, presentation, writing, and analysis. Introduction to engineering. Analysis and design of DC and AC circuits. Resistors, capacitors, inductors, transformers, and batteries. Ohms Law, power and network theorems. Steady state and frequency domain analysis. Laboratory exercises are included. (Fall, Winter, Spring)
