Prerequisite: Designed primarily for piano pedagogy majors, students enrolled in the course should have a performance competency level that will enable them to adequately participate both in performance and basic theoretical analysis of the music. The course is open to non-majors with an interest in teaching in the home. This class emphasizes practical teaching experience in both private and group situations. Students will teach average age beginning students. The course is designed primarily for piano majors. However, any student meeting the course prerequisite is welcome.
