SOCI 410: Capstone Project in Sociology
4.00 Credits
Ramapo College of New Jersey
In concept, the purpose of the senior project is to apply your knowledge of sociology to the community around you. Therefore projects should be community-based: i.e., they need to relate to a specific group in the community that embodies your interest and engages your commitment. The project must also afford you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in sociological analysis. Optimally, projects should also reflect the principles of research, especially participant research and the other elements of design that you have learned in the Sociology program. Finally, the project report must be written in a coherent fashion that reflects a close working relationship with a faculty member. The choice and design of the senior project is up to you. Fieldwork Fee: $15. 0.000 TO 4.000 Credit Hours 0.000 TO 4.000 Lecture hours Levels: Undergraduate Schedule Types: Lecture Social Science & Human Srv College Sociology Department
