The Art Seminar in Italy will provide participants with an overview of the diverse art forms and cultural forces responsible for molding Italy as a preeminent infl uence in the history of Art. Commencing with a study of the art of Ancient Rome, the survey will progress through Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque styles in such important cities as Rome, Florence and Venice. A brief introduction to Twentieth Century Italian art will conclude the survey. Visits to major museums and historical sites will be enhanced by lectures by both resident experts and OCC faculty.
