Prerequisite: COMPASS Reading score of 80 or better. Introduces music from the Middle Ages to the present to foster an appreciation and understanding of music in its cultural/historical context. No musical background is needed. Students who have taken HUMN 1201 may not use MUSC 1100 to fulfill their degree requirements in Area C. (F,S,M)
