3 hours. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of READ 0099, ENGL 0099, and MATH 0099. Co-requisite: PHYS 1111L. Prerequisite: MATH 1112 or MATH 1113 with a grade of C or higher. Three hours of lecture and one hour of recitation each week. An introductory course which will include material from mechanics, thermodynamics, and waves. Elementary algebra and trigonometry will be used. Fall and Summer as needed.
