(3 credits) An introduction to computer aided drafting. Emphasis is on basic applications and techniques for creating CAD drawings. Includes hardware and software concepts, initial drawing set up, coordinate systems, keyboard functions and applications, basic drawing commands and techniques, editing techniques, rotating and scaling, copying and moving, zoom and pan, developing a layer system, menu structure, printing and plotting your drawing.
