EDUC 6578: Assistantship

Assistant teachers are placed in the classroom under the supervision of a mentor teacher for six to eight weeks. They also undergo clinical supervisions by a University faculty member. Each observation is followed by a post-observation critique session. Concurrently, teaching assistants attend three seminars each semester where problems arising in professional practice are addressed. [9/4/1996]
