This course is designed to offer the student the opportunity to explore various methods, techniques, and approaches to the teaching of Second Language Acquisition: Methods and Curriculum. Knowledge derived from the linguistic sciences about the nature of language and how it is learned will serve as the criteria of evaluation when examining various approaches.The knowledge acquired from this endeavor will serve as a foundation for using a methodology that is eclectic in nature and considers both the cognitive and affective needs of second language learners.
