Children's Theater will explore potential values of theater for children today. All technical, performing and administrative chores will be handled entirely by the students. Weekly workshopd will develop a production from selected world folklore, based on experimental work in creative movement, improvisation, pantomine, characterization and style exercises. By the semester's end, a company--named "The Reconteurs"-- will perform for elementary school children and at a children's home or institution. [1/23/2006]
