Avian systematics, anatomy, physiology, behavior, ecology, evolution, and conservation. Labs teach visual and auditory identification, census techniques, banding, and taping. Field trips alternate Saturdays and at least one overnight weekend field trip. Prerequisites: General Biology I BSC 1010 and II BSC 1011. Corequisite: Concurrent registration of lecture with lab course. [B]
