Focuses on maintaining optimal functioning of the client. It includes theory, technical skills, and clinical components. Laboratory and clinical experiences facilitate the application of theory to the management of client care. Utilizing the program's conceptual framework of professionalism, holism, nursing process, optimal functioning, and community based practice, students will provide care to selected adult clients in the medical-surgical, psychiatric and community based settings. Prerequisites: NU 204, NU 205 . Prerequisites or corequisites: General Ed Humanities elective, NU 207.
