This seminar includes analysis of literary and cinematic texts designed to promote advanced proficiency in Russian. Topics vary from year to year, but may include post-Soviet literature, film, and society; gender and sexuality in Russian culture; Russian comedy; or literature, cinema, and dissent. Frequent written assignments and oral presentations. This course may be repeated for credit once.
