Prerequisite: PSY 113 LEC 3 hrs., LAB 0 hrs. An in-depth examination of topics pertaining to human behavior in the workplace including: personnel selection, training, evaluation, management, employee motivation and job satisfaction. Field assignments and class projects provide opportunities to interview managers, conduct job analyses, prepare personnel surveys and engage in team-building exercises.

Prerequisites: PSY 180 or PSY 113 and permission of honors coordinator or department LEC 3 hrs., Lab 0 hrs. This honors course will consist of a deeper analysis of the major personality theories and their application to case studies. Biological as well as social perspectives on the development of the self will be covered. Relevant issues including achievement motivation, power, gender, relationships, and health are discussed. Research and clinical examples as well as personal growth exercises will be utilized to promote critical thinking and to facilitate the application of theoretical concepts to the student's everyday life experiences.

Prerequisite: PSY 113 and permission from Honors Coordinator. LEC 3 hrs. LAB 0 hrs. This honors course is an in-depth coverage of the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders as categorized by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. Students are required to complete a research project using the American Psychological Association format.

Leadership, decision-making, personnel, and budgetary functions within governmental agencies are examined. The role of the public administrator in contemporary government is analyzed. The implementation of public policy at all levels of government, with emphasis on state and municipal institutions, is covered.

The student is expected to participate in the activities of an administrative agency under the joint supervision of a faculty member and the agency. Prerequisite: Admission to Professional Phase Radiography program Corequisites: RAD 104, RAD 107 LEC 2 hrs. LAB 0 hrs. Introduction to Radiography is the study of the fundamental elements of the health system, patient care and the profession of Radiography. The concepts of ethics, law, medical asepsis, vital signs, communicable disease, and medical emergencies will be presented in this course.

Prerequisite: Admission to Professional Phase Radiography program Corequisites: BIO 101, RAD 100, RAD 107 LEC 3 hrs LAB 3 hrs Course fee $100 This course is designed to provide the student with the necessary theory, concepts, and hands-on experience in performing specific diagnostic procedures. Patient positioning, equipment manipulation, radiation protection techniques, appropriate patient care techniques and critique of radiographic images are presented in this course. Body areas to be covered include chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities.
