HET 87: Restorative Nurse Assistant

Limitation on enrollment: Requires current CPR certification and immunizations, medical clearance from healthcare provider, uniform with RCC HET I.D. badge. Prepares Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) for career advancement as Restorative Nurse Assistants (RNAs.) Provides overview of rehabilitative and restorative nursing care. Focuses on the roles and responsibilities of RNAs. Includes discussion of federal and state regulations, principles of rehabilitative and restorative care and supervised clinical practice in long-term care settings. 28 hours lecture and 28 hours laboratory.
