(Prerequisite: DAT 610) Implementing and maintaining databases using Structured Query Language, Data Design Language and Data Manipulation Language, Transact-SQL and Data Transformation Services; programming business logic using stored procedures, triggers, userdefined functions, and views; optimizing performance using SQL Profiler and Index Tuning Wizard; and implementing security.

(Prerequisite: DAT 620) Advanced skills for managing databases using Structured Query Language features, writing advanced queries using JOIN statements and client-side reports, imbedded SQL such as T-SQL or P-SQL, as well as command line operations and programming techniques to build databases designed for web-based deployment.
