Practical "hands-on" work experience with a privateor public environmental agency at regional, state or federal levels. Faculty supervisor works with agency manager/supervisor and student in designing a specific project or work plan. A final summative paper is required at the end of the internship.

(Prerequisite: SCL 601) Inventory management; logistics network design, and distribution systems, to more advanced discussions of strategic alliances, value of information in supply chain, information technology and decisions support systems, and international issues in supply chain management. It introduces models, in design, control, operation, and management of supply chain.

It shows how information systems connect all these activities, with the goal of providing the best customer service at the least cost.

(Prerequisite: SCL 603) Advanced concepts in supply Chain Logistics management including Information Networks, Enterprise Resource Planning and Decision Support Systems. Provides extensive integration of spreadsheet- based solution methods including linear programming problems, reciprocal cost allocation problems, linear regression problems, and sensitivity analysis in cost-volume-profit analysis.

(Prerequisite: SCL 604) Study of information systems technology through systems integration and distributed computing, to maximize efficiencies to meet organizational goals in supply chain management and eLogistics. Provides a practical focus on client server computing and integration of legacy systems with newer applications to meet changing business needs.

Focuses on screenplay analysis as an essential tool of the film and television industry. The core components of screenplays are explored including the three act structure, characterization, dialog, tone, theme and voice. Students learn to write "coverage"including synopses and producer-appropriate commentary.
