Define the characteristics of a successful college student, and practice developing behaviors and attitudes that increase academic success, including familiarity with campus resources. Basic aspects of various learning differences, including learning disabilities and attention deficit/hyperactive disorders and their impact on learning. Emphasis is on awareness and acceptance of individual learning differences. Demonstrate advocacy for learning requirements with instructional faculty. Evaluate and reinforce successful learning tools in areas such as time management, memory, processing information, and learning styles.
